About me

I am a Ph.D. Student at the Visual Recognition Group, Czech Technical University in Prague, where I am working on large-scale visual recognition under the supervision of Professor Ondrej Chum.

Previously, I obtained my Engineering Diploma (5 year degree) at the school of Electrical & Computer Engineering, National Technical University of Athens. My major was in Computer Science with a specialization on Deep Learning and its applications to Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing.

During the final year of my Diploma studies, I was also a Research Intern at the Visual Recognition Group, Czech Technical University in Prague under the supervision of Assistant Professor Giorgos Tolias. There, I worked on Instance-Level Recognition, a special kind of visual recognition that aims to recognize specific instances of objects and not only their semantic class.

News
