I am a Ph.D. Student at the Visual Recognition Group, Czech Technical University in Prague, where I am working on large-scale visual recognition under the supervision of Professor Ondrej Chum.
Previously, I obtained my Engineering Diploma (5 year degree) at the school of Electrical & Computer Engineering, National Technical University of Athens. My major was in Computer Science with a specialization on Deep Learning and its applications to Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing.
During the final year of my Diploma studies, I was also a Research Intern at the Visual Recognition Group, Czech Technical University in Prague under the supervision of Assistant Professor Giorgos Tolias. There, I worked on Instance-Level Recognition, a special kind of visual recognition that aims to recognize specific instances of objects and not only their semantic class.
[Jan. 22] :
I was accepted to start my Ph.D. studies at the Visual Recognition Group, Department of Cybernetics, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague. I will be working on large-scale visual recognition under the supervision of Professor Ondrej Chum.
[Oct. 21] :
I presented the Met Dataset at the 4th Instance-Level Recognition Workshop of ICCV'21. Here is the video of the presentation.
[Oct. 21] :
My first paper got accepted at NeurIPS 2021 Track on Datasets and Benchmarks! Special thanks to my supervisor Giorgos Tolias and the rest of the team members for this amazing collaboration!
